Week 1: Little Late to The Show

• Bilgewater Division [Division of Death]

Omega Goobers vs Drop Dead Gaming Vultures [ 2-1]

Nothing much to say here, but having a solid organization like Omega Esports. Let’s tackle this match. When we look at the players, we see some pretty interesting players. Players to watch out for is Omega Goober’s top laner Cariño#Amor, & Drop Dead Gaming Vultures Raie Crémeuse#NA1. They seem like an all around even match up, with giving more credit to Omega Goober’s top. Now comparing the other Omega Goobers well known MVP, Sourcewalker, against PL3B, you see an interesting playstyle of banning Master Yi, right?? Overall, I think that Omega Goobers would take this game with a 2-1

Afterthought: Omega Goobers has not uploaded their score yet, but we shall see.

ID Freaks vs Choco Mint [0-2]

Chocolate and everything nice, minty and fresh. Mint Esports will probably struggle with ID; however I think overall, you have players such as RedzNoxus7, & C0pp3r543 that will dominate Jestin & Chicken Jockey in bot lane with a cherry on top. Matter of fact, you have one side that is more all around, while the other, well, is a little bit of a mystery. 

Afterthought: Choco Mint did indeed 2-0, & have dominated the summoner rift. Good job Choco Mint!

Bloom Gaming Rose vs Elysian Bowling Team [0-2]

You have to pick up with the team that has Master in their name. So looking at op.gg is he really a Master at his role, let’s see you see an all around ADC main player, who surprisingly never peaked Masters. Maybe one day the player will try to change IGN to Grandmaster once the player hits Master. On the other side, Killian seems more of a fill player than an ADC. You see Lucian, Darius, Warwick, then…. Overall the team Elysian Bowling Team has an actual Master player on their team, and more coverage. I will have to go with Turkey Bowl on this one. 

Afterthought: They shoot, they score, perfect and hit all of the bowling pins.

XSV Pride vs Akuma Blades [0-2]

Sorry, I have to go with Akuma Blades on this one. Only because the organization has fielded a strong roster, you have MVP IBeyondGodly who is definitely a really ocean heavy support, along with AKMxFluke who is a well known ADC. On the side of XSV Pride, the only one you can watch out for would be Qixing, minus the Elise, his support pool is solid. 

Afterthought: Match history was not posted, but I do have faith in the Akuma organization.

• Shadow Isles Division [Division of Soul & Spirit]

GG Zenith vs Elysium Esports Diamond [1-2]

I will have to go with Elysium Esports Diamond on this one. On Elysium Esports side, you have every player going their main role, but on GG Zenith side, you have Kodak going a mixture of adc & top. On the other side, you have regulars such as Cr1tz, AfkBoulder, & HeroJoe

Afterthought: I still rest my case with them, as Elysium Esports Diamond has a strong team.

Surely Not Syndicate vs SYN Cinnati [1-2]

You have MVPs such as Zohair, & YouTube, but Syn Cinnati has more of a strong pool of players with everyone mostly going their main roles, and overall champion pools that are really hard to ban out. This will be a tough match, but I believe that SYN Cinnati will come out on top.

Afterthought: Surely Not Syndicate losing to SYN Cinnati can still be guaranteed.

Akuma Halberds vs Flannel Esports Cow Farmers [1-2]

On Akuma Halberds side you have familiars such as KreyDawg, & wurmjones. Both players have their fair share of champ pools and have a decent pool, but Flannel Esports Cow Farmers, has a full stacked roster of familiars such as Ravensman, Conjured Raven, Quinntik, ChaoTiC. Might as well name the whole team, anyways… Yes, even though Flannel has some regular players, Akuma might honestly secure a victory somehow.

Afterthought: Actually, to be honest, this was not as much of a shocker. Akuma Esports usually slot in many veteran players, and try to give some to the underdogs.

High Alert Minions vs Murk Ocean [0-2]

Honestly, I will be a little bit biased since we have experienced the Murk Ocean team itself. I believe in the Murk Ocean team ourselves. Jake, Rewind3000, & Blue Castle all did fairly well with a fairly open champ pool, it is almost really like an ocean. 

Afterthought: High Alert Minions have spoiled the Despicable Me’s. Great job High Alert.

• Ixtal Division [Division of Glorified Memes]

The Milk Men vs Kitten Kingdom [2-1]

Honestly the name itself… Imagine losing to a team named The Milk Men & Kitten Kingdom. Looking at the IGNs themselves, I can’t imagine how creative their IGNs can get. You have one corner, The Milk Men with DaddyDairy, FozzyBaer, with 3 wurmjones. You thought one was plenty already. Then you have the other side with Zebra, Deera, & mewingkitten4, that are animals, with ImP Krall & valve index that are completely unrelated. If this is a battle royale The Milk Men would win with milk as the kryptonite with these exploding kittens [fun game]

Afterthought: I honestly thought that the battle of the teams that you should not lose to. Surprisingly enough, the Kitten Kingdom has dominated The Milk Men.

USAE Academy vs Karate Kids [0-2]

Respectfully, I feel like USAE Academy players & Karate Kids have some overall weakness in which some of the players are not going on their main roles. You have support champions on USAE Academy, while Karate Kids have more ADC picks. Well, honestly I will have to go with my guts on this one and vote for Karate Kids. Sorry USAE Academy, there is not enough data from any of these teams to truly decide who becomes a clear winner. 

Afterthought: Karate Kids are slipping into the action as they try to take the top slots for playoffs. 

XG Jackals vs Glacial Knights [2-1]

Honestly, I would have to go with XG Jackals on winning this matchup. I mean overall the opposing side have players like Improve, Overcome, Adapt, Improvise just to top it off. I think Masoof should change IGN to Perseverance. Overall, all of them have reached peak master status at some time of their seasonal career. Only masoof has not reached master yet, so maybe Perseverance is a good IGN change. On the other side, you have a roster of brand new players to compete besides Happiercat477, & PixelWolf, & Ciaconna who each have their share.

Afterthought: XG Esports themselves are a strong organization, & they will be top tier and definitely playoff material.

Lab Nemesis vs Illusion Esports [0-2]

Last but not least, we have Lab Nemesis with a stacked roster of mains & subs. I would look out for players such as Cuddlebuns, while on Illusion Esports tacoloverr who really have a fair amount of champ pool. I will have to give credit more to Illusion Esports only because there is that huge jungle difference which makes it an unfair advantage. 

Afterthought: Illusion Esports for the win, after seeing the games draw out.

Previews of Match [Week 2]

• Bilgewater Division [Division of Death]

XSV Pride vs ID Freaks [ 1-2]

We already have seen ID Freaks vs Mint Choco Mint & honestly gives a more skewed prediction more towards XSV Pride. However, on paper, the ID Freaks look better just on the overall champions, We have Chazz who we have mentioned before that the player has a mixed pool of adc & top lanes. We have MVP, Czark on top lane who will be their win condition, but on XSV Pride side other than the top lane, you have an all around player that knows their roles. Whether or not which side wins will determine who will get farther and farther away from playoffs. Both teams are going in with a 0-1 score, so whoever loses will get their chances of making it to the playoffs.

Drop Dead Gaming Vultures vs Bloom Gaming Rose [2-0]

One of the teams, Bloom Gaming Rose has lost against one of the stronger team Elysian Bowling Team; and one is undecided with Drop Dead Gaming Vultures vs Omega Goobers. We will compare both rosters to see who really will Drop Dead on one side, & Bloom victorious on the other. DDGV has more of a standing chance; they are more structured towards victory. On the Bloom Gaming Rose side, there is a massive difference in mid lane, comparing SE Da Bananaman & Mutt. 

Akuma Blades vs Elysian Bowling Team [2-1]

This is going to be tough to predict, because you have two very strong teams that will determine which seed they will get in order to make it to the race for playoffs. Akuma Blades has strong hitters such as iBeyond Godly, & AKMxFluke, & them alone would be enough to balance the score with Killian & Lyon of Grado. The Elysian Bowling Team can win through the jungle only because there is a slight difference between ChillSavior and Daeda.

Choco Mint vs Omega Goobers [1-2]

Honestly, this can go both ways. Both organizations have good structure & players. It can either go both ways. But, I will have to give it more towards Omega Goobers; their roster just looks better on paper. There is not enough data to go by since week 1 is not posted for Omega Goobers, & Choco Mint dominated their week 1 with a score of 2-0 against ID Freaks.

• Shadow Isles Division [Division of Soul & Spirit]

Elysium Esports Diamond vs High Alert Minions [1-2]

I will go more towards favoritism against High Alert Minions only because Murk Ocean is a middle of the pack team, and the team has 2-0 against them. We do not have any data on Elysium Esports Diamond from week 1, so can not really judge based on what's on paper through OP.GG comparison. 

Syn Cinnati vs Murk Ocean [2-0]

I feel like Murk Ocean will not stand a chance against Syn Cinnati. Overall Murk Ocean has a decent enough bot lane, to break even with bot or win their lane. However, on Cinnati side, most of their players just look good on paper. 

Surely not Syndicate vs Akuma Halberds [1-2]

On Akuma Halberds side you have familiars such as KreyDawg, & wurmjones. Both players have their fair share of champ pools and have a decent pool, but on the other side, it just looks okay on paper.

Flannel Esports Cow Farmers vs GG Zenith [2-0]

Flannel Esports Cow Farmers just have a stacked roster, and will most likely dominate GG Zenith. GG Zenith has not yet played their games or just not posted their results yet, so can not determine really on GG Zenith side just yet.

• Ixtal Division [Division of Glorified Memes]

Illusion Esports vs USAE Academy [2-0]

If we are comparing from week 1. Illusion Esports has won against Lab Nemesis [2-0], while USAE Academy has lost against Karate Kids [0-2]. Illusion Esports is stronger than Karate Kids, if we are to compare. USAE Academy will have a hard time competing against Baternat, but I do wish good luck against USAE Academy to turn the game around, and turn the tides to climbing up the ladder. 

The Milk Men vs Lab Nemesis [1-2]

Respectfully, I feel like Lab Nemesis should not lose against the Milk Men. It is one of those teams that you should not lose to, Lab Nemesis should be able to win against the team. In week 1, The Milk Men lost against Kitten Kingdom with a score of [2-1] while Lab Nemesis lost against Illusion Esports [0-2] and even though they have lost, it was very close. Whoever wins this would get a closer shot to the playoffs. 

Kitten Kingdom vs Glacial Knights [1-2]

Honestly, it can be one of two things. It is either the team dominates and wins through their win conditions, or they will lose horribly to Kitten Kingdom. Overall, the week 1 game Glacial Knights have lost to a team that is solid all around XG Jackals, and both of them were very close where Glacial was leading in the early game, but slowly started losing their lead. Kitten Kingdom also did their best on defeating The Milk Men, getting two wins off of them, and one loss. Overall, this would be an interesting matchup to see. Will Kitten Kingdom slowly rise to playoffs, or would Glacial Knights be victorious, ending the reign of the kittens? Let's find out in the next episode of Blue Otter League.

Karate Kids vs XG Jackals [0-2]

Last but not least, we have XG Jackals who have won the late game battle against Glacial Knights, and seem to keep a steady pace on capturing that win. While the Karate Kids have defeated USAE Academy, also getting a score of 2-0. This also is an interesting matchup to see if Karate Kids are a good solid roster and XG Jackals who are known for keeping the drafts interesting with a lot of flex picks.
